What we're seeing at present is the West Ham way. Have a period of good games and wins interrupted by unexpected losses. Its always been the same, doesnt matter who we have playing for us, doesnt matter who we have managing us, in fact it doesnt matter who we have as owners it will always happen and is part of our DNA and the result of where we sit in the pecking order of football. People dont express apathy after these results they are just battle worn and know its not the first or last time this sequence of events will unfold on us.

None of my clients are West Ham, mate.

You take priority.

We have to stick together.

It’s never for lack of effort though LT, ability maybe, can the same be said of others?

Did one of your “clients” cancel this afternoon Wong?
Anyway, I’m off out glad I’ve livened up the day for some of you.

Have Leicester progressed under Rogers, yes. Have Burnley progressed under Dyche, yes. I'm not sure we have progressed to the same extent (admittedly Dyche has had a lot longer, but nowhere near the resources). If he's one of the highest paid managers in the league, I'm not sure, at present, we are getting our monies worth, but if we win our next three, all will be forgotten.

I wish Noble was able to self motivate himself last Saturday.

It was his worst performance in a long, long time.

Nobody knows
The trouble you feel
Nobody cares
The feelin' is real

Johnny,
We're sorry,
Won't you come on home
We worry,
Won't you come on
What is wrong with West Ham
Cos we're only mid table.
Johnny,
We're sorry

Use the phone,
Call your mom
She's missing you badly,
Missing her son

Who do you know,
Where will you stay
Big city life
Is not what they say

Johnny,
We're sorry,
Won't you come on home
We worry,
Won't you come on
What is wrong with Pellegrini
We should be - in - the - top 4
Johnny,
We're sorry

You'd better go,
Everything's closed
Can't find a room,
Money's all blown
Nowhere to sleep,
Out in the cold
Nothing to eat,
Nowhere to go

Johnny,
We're sorry,
Won't you come on home
We worry,
Won't you come on
We've only got ...29 games left.
What the fuck are we gonna do.
Johnny,
We're sorry
Won't you come on home
We worry,
Won't you come on home
Johnny
Won't you come on home

As I said Saturday is massive, we know what’s coming.
You know that Noble will be up for it because he’ll self motivate, the others looking at the manager I’m really not so sure.

Only a fool couldn’t see how lucky we were or maybe it was just blind optimism and hope which I can kind of excuse.

What, when we played Oxford?
Not a messiah then

My view is that we have been up and down and our balance has never been right due to the lack of quality in central midfield
Did that mean I thought MP was a fraud and various other expressions ... No.
But he needs to up his game

rochesterjohn 4:24 Wed Oct 23

Not 4 weeks ago it wasn’t...

Sven Roeder 4:22 Wed Oct 23
Re: Sheffield United v Arsenal
Not sure I’ve seen the word messiah used and particularly not recently.
Most on here were critical of MP’s subs at least v Palace and with virtually everything that went on at Goodison.
From team selection to motivation and back to the hole in central midfield not sorted last summer.

Can’t imagine anyone is 100% confident we will roll over Sheff Utd if at all and most will be looking to the manager and players for a major improvement.
And will be ready to criticise if that doesn’t result.
As I said he has had 50 odd PL games as manager and you’d hope something would be coming together
I couldn’t think anyone is entirely happy so far.
To present it as one SAGE crying in the wilderness in the face of thousands of true believers is palpable nonsense isn’t it?

rochesterjohn 4:19 Wed Oct 23
Re: Sheffield United v Arsenal
And that’s part of the problem, where did this think like a big club nonsense come from? You earn the right to be considered a big club, you can’t just say, right we’re a big club now and let’s think that way.
You can be successful without that bullshit.

Re: Sheffield United v Arsenal
I've still seen nothing to suggest MP will go down in our history as anything other then just another West Ham manager.
His biggest achievement has been in keeping the three cunts who run the club mostly out of the spotlight.
West Ham in recent years have become quite good at winning must-win games (excluding cups obviously) but rather bad at winning games with less riding on them.
The problem remains - as it has for fucking ages - one of attitude and MP doesn't seem able to do much about it despite him banging on about the Big Club mentality.
He has also failed to address the lack of speed - both in thought and in play - which has been another perennial handicap.

Few things:

- Malaga were not average, they had a huge amount of money thrown at them by the Arabs.

- Ranieri & Kenny Dailglish have won the PL, I wouldn't want them either.

- i cannot spell Kenny's surname

Re: Sheffield United v Arsenal
With their human rights record I’d have to give it some serious consideration...
He’s a fraud, like Nigel Benn strapping his gloves back on, he used to be great you know but now, not so much!
Pellegrini could not believe his luck when Sullivan came knocking, you’d think he’d show a bit more passion and gratitude rather than the shrugging of the shoulders look that he’s now mastered.

Grumpster 4:09 Wed Oct 23
Re: Sheffield United v Arsenal
Yay, let's sack another manager and start all over again.

We don't have the finances to go out and buy a ready made improved squad, so we have to gradually improve which we clearly have, though clearly some performances have been fucking awful. Par for the course for a mid table team to have less consistent players.

That's not always the managers fault, I'd say the players had to look at themselves more on Saturday.

Fab being out is a disaster though with that clown in goal, so that's his fault for bringing him in, though all managers buy the odd turkey.

I must say, John is excellent entertainment.

He does Mr Vexed miles better than Mr Vexed, AND combines him with Mr Bean.

John, are you ok mate?

You can be wrong about things, you're only human afterall.

However, to suggest MP is a fraud is fucking laughable you soppy bastard.

If you were offered £10m to do one of your gigs in China, would you go there, john?

I think there lies your answer.

rochesterjohn 3:57 Wed Oct 23
Re: Sheffield United v Arsenal
You’re the soppy cunts that keep going on about his past achievements, winning the premier with a bottomless pit of cash, wow some achievement that!
Why do you think he was away in China?
Is it
A) Because all the top clubs in Europe were clamouring for some of the Pellegrini magic dust to be sprinkled.
Or
B) He’s a busted flush.
